It all began in 1996, when David McShane and Lane Heenan, decided to pool their knowledge and experience and to put their individual rally pursuits on to a business footing.

Race Torque Partnership was transformed into Race Torque Engineering Pty Ltd in 2001. The change was deemed necessary as the business had grown substantially since it’s formation.

Race Torque Engineering Ptd Ltd now commands a pre-eminent place in racing and rallying in Australia and internationally with many national and FIA Championships to its credit.

Race Torque moved into new premises in January 2005. We can offer our clients one of the best motorsport and performance workshops in the country. We have dedicated Engine build, fabricating and welding, machining, gearbox and shock rooms in the workshop. Plus large show room and customer waiting area.
